NHS Coaching and Mentoring Hub

Information for coaches

How it works

Our Coaching and Mentoring Register is designed to make it easier for you to be identifiable to coachees who are a good fit for your coaching expertise and interests. Getting started is simple.

1. Register
Sign up as a coach when you are ready. Registration only takes a few minutes.

2. Choose a pathway (or not)
To make matching easier, we've created pathways based on shared needs, interests and expertise. Click to learn more about our pathway approach. If the pathway approach isn't for you, simply sign up as a generic coach. When signing up to be a coach for a pathway/s, you will automatically be registered as a generic coach unless you choose the option not to do this during registration.

3. Quality assurance and approval
Complete your registration, providing the necessary information and documentation. Adding a photograph of yourself really helps to encourage connection. See FAQs for more information.

4. Connect
Coachees will review available coaches and contact you via the platform. You can then arrange a chemistry call to check you are a good fit for each other, agree how you want to work together and what you'd like to focus on.

2. Coaching and mentoring are offered free of charge on this platform.  Any coach found to be charging will be removed.

6. Documentation for coaching relationships is available on the platform. You can use your own documentation if you prefer.

7. Coaches are responsible for uploading data about the number of coaching relationships and number of sessions per coaching relationship.
