Pathways explained, for coaches
Our pathways enable coachees to identify coaches who have skills, training and/or interest in a specific field of coaching. A coach who has chosen to be assigned to a pathway has the label on their profile. Coachees can then easily identify coaches whose profiles they can review before approaching them. Often coaches assigned to a pathway are offered relevant CPD in support of the pathway approach. A coach does not have to be associated with a pathway and can simply sign up to offer generic coaching via the register.
CAREER COACHING PATHWAY
If you are passionate about helping people navigate their career direction, progression or transition. Work with colleagues who are exploring new opportunities, building confidence or planning their next steps
NEURODIVERSITY PATHWAY
Some coachees want a coach who understands or is sensitive to neurodiversity. You can create a safe, affirming space for them to explore their strengths, challenges and working styles. You don't need to be an expert – just open, informed and committed to inclusive practice.
GLOBAL MAJORITY PATHWAY
Coachees from the global majority often seek an informed, compassionate and accepting coach who can support them to navigate their specific challenges in the workplace and life.
EXPRESS COACHING PATHWAY
Here coaches provide a focused short-term support in the form of a one-off, one-hour, virtual coaching session. Often these coachees need a relatively urgent session.
SUPERVISION PATHWAY
Trained and/or qualified coaching supervisors can be made visible to coaches. Coaches can find and approach you to discuss their supervision requirements.
We deeply value the time, energy and generosity that our coaches contribute. Your commitment to supporting others makes a real difference. To sign up to a pathway, email leadershipandtalent.sw@nhs.net to discuss this option with our team.
